Problem solving
I am very good at
problem solving, throughout my study at college I have had to overcome many
boundaries when it comes to learning about something new, I would start an
assignment and have no idea what some of the subjects I needed to cover
involved, so I did everything I could to find out so I could ensure I got a
good mark on m assignment and learnt from it along the way.
Teamwork
I can work well in a team,

any goals necessary.

to a high standard.

never be dishonest, as I am a very honest person and I don’t like to gossip or
tell lies or go along with them.

efficiently.

Personal Statement
UCAS Personal
Statement
Currently I am studying games development at college; on
this course I have covered units such as 3D modelling, digital graphics for
computer games, games platforms and technologies and sound for computer games.
At university I would like to study 3D games development at
a degree level so I can expand my skills and knowledge on the subject and be
able to be prepared for employment with the skills I would have learnt. I would
one day like to work for a gaming company to help to create games, perhaps
focusing on the 3D model aspect or animation.
On my current course, the unit that particularly stands out
to me and that I enjoy the most is 3D modelling, I enjoy this unit most as it Is
the most appealing to me as it is helping me to develop my skills on a subject
I am most interesting and that will benefit me the most in my career path.
While in college I have developed skills in time management,
planning and I have gained familiarity with different 3D software and how to
use these programmes to a good standard. Coming onto this course I had limited
experience on these subjects but having progressed through the course I have
improved them greatly and I believe I can produce various types of work to a
high standard.
I have very limited work experience, throughout my life I
have only ever had a paper round at a younger age and I participated in one day
of work experience at my previous college working in the IT department.
Outside of college I have many interests in things like
music, mainly metal and hard-core, I have a great interest in gaming, I play
mainly Xbox 360 games currently and I also play PC games such as World of
Warcraft and Hearthstone. My other interest include movies, attending gigs and
music festivals, spending time with family, friends and my girlfriend and in
many different television programs.
I think I would be suitable for university as I am willing
to commit to a course so I can seek employment so I will be very hardworking
and dedicated. I can create high quality pieces of work and I can complete them
on time and I am willing to give up a great deal of my free time to completing
work to ensure I receive a high grade.
